KITTIE: More New Songs Posted Online
January 29, 2007Canadian metal band KITTIE has uploaded three new tracks — "Summer Dies", "Witch Hunt" and "This Too Shall Pass" — to its MySpace page. All three cuts come off the group's new album, "Funeral for Yesterday", due on February 20 via KITTIE's record label, X of Infamy.
A trailer for the DVD that will be available as a companion disc with "Funeral for Yesterday" has been posted online at YouTube.com.
KITTIE's new CD was recorded at Retromedia Studio in Red Bank, New Jersey with producer Jack Ponti, who has previously worked with BON JOVI, SKID ROW, and ALICE COOPER. Other songtitles set to appear on the new album include "Never Again", "The Change", "Breathe", "Last Goodbye", and "Slow Motion". The band recently finished mixing the effort with producer Kevin Shirley (IRON MAIDEN, DREAM THEATER).
KITTIE will team up with WALLS OF JERICHO, DEAD TO FALL, 36 CRAZYFISTS and IN THIS MOMENT for "The Funeral for Yesterday Tour" beginning in early February.
